James Wallace has 28 years of experience in Dallas ISD. He has served as principal at Nathaniel Hawthorne for 9 years, J. N. Ervin for 6 years, and is in his second year at K. B. Polk. He is proud of his success at leading campuses through change while producing consistent student growth. Mr. Wallace is happy to return to Polk and looks forward to leading it to being a premiere magnet campus. Mr. Wallace has lived in the Kimball Estates Neighborhood of Oak Cliff for twenty years with his wife, Tamekia, and daughter Mackenzie.

K.B. Polk offers both TAG Magnet and Visual & Performing Arts Magnet programs for 4th through 8th grade students.

Each winter the K.B. Polk Dance Conservatory presents The Nutcracker.
